Green Curry Paste is the base for a typical Thai green curry. It gets its colour from the green chillies which are ground together with the other ingredients as well as shrimp paste. The paste can be mixed with coconut milk, to make the curry base. The consistency of the curry depends on the amount of milk. It is a very hot curry although it is sweeter than the other curries in the range such as red or yellow. It contains chilli, lemon-grass, garlic, salt, shallots, galangal, kaffir lime peel and coriander seeds as well as other spices to add to the flavour.
